The RBEB was an idea born in a JetC mailing list. There are so many Estrogen Brigades out there...and we realized that Robert Beltran did not have one. Can you imagine?!? So Jenn Lucas and Lisa Beard set out to correct that. It only took a little publicity on the JetC lists and alt.tv.star-trek.voyager and ... it was done! :-)

The RBEB officially began on June 10, 1997 with about twenty members...over the next few weeks our numbers grew and now there are about 80 women on the original RBEB and just over fifty women on the RBEB2. We talk about everything...what books we like to read, cross-stitching, favorite movies, episodes of Star Trek...and every once in a while the subject of Robert comes up.

The RBEB is an automated email list, which makes it convenient for all the members to chat as much as they want to...and that can lead to high volumes of email... especially right after a Chakotay episode of Voyager. Both the RBEB and RBEB2 are open to new members all the time. If you are seriously interested in joining, send an email to Jannie or join via Yahoo Groups. You must be over 18 years of age and ready for lots of email!
